Crawford Reports Improved Second Quarter

Crawford & Co., an Atlanta-based claims manager for insurance companies and self-insured entities, said it posted a 3.6% increase in revenue for the second quarter of 2006 compared to the same period last year. A day after announcing it has sold its headquarters and will move into leased space, Crawford posted revenue before reimbursements of $192.6 million for the quarter ended June 30.
