Ohio hospital groups on Friday sued the Bureau of Workers' Compensation for what they say was an illegal reduction of the fees the state pays for treatment of injured workers.
The lawsuit was brought by the Ohio Hospital
Association and Genesis HealthCare Systems. The pair asked the Franklin County Common Pleas Court for a temporary block of the lowered hospital payment schedule, which took effect Oct 1.
