Texas Mutual Charges $1.5 M Fraud by Fair Isaac

Fair Isaac Corp. charges in a lawsuit that Texas Mutual Insurance Co. owes it $1.3 million for bill-review software, but Texas Mutual counters in its own action that Fair Isaac sold it an untested prototype that "failed catastrophically." Both companies are seeking damages in dueling lawsuits. Fair Isaac filed suit in the U.S. District Court in Houston on Aug. 23. Texas Mutual filed its action at the U.S. District Court in Austin on Sept. 23. According to Fair Isaac's suit, the case is a simple matter of Texas Mutual not paying its bill.
