Two Dayton, Ohio, physicians received probation and were ordered to pay a fine for engaging in workers' comp fraud, the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) announced.
Judge Walter Rice issued the sentence to Dr. Gregory Knoderer and Dr. John Moore on Monday, Oct. 8.
Knoderer was ordered to pay $137,900.33 in restitution and was assessed a $30,000 fine. He also received three years probation and was ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.
Moore was ordered to pay $67,900 in restitution and was assessed a $5000 fine, along with three years probation.
