Temporary total disability is, by definition, total in character and a claimant who was working a reduced number of hours did not qualify for the benefit, the Florida 1st District Court of Appeal has ruled.
The court issued a per curiam opinion in LaLonde v. Checker's Drive-In Restaurants Inc. and Specialty Risk Services, 1D05-3160, 12/12/06, in which it reversed a judge of compensation claims award of temporary total disability (TTD) to Donald LaLonde.
