Councilman Wants Cops Carrying Stun Guns for Protection

An Annapolis, Md., official wants police to carry stun guns for the officers' protection -- and to save on workers' comp claims. County law prohibits anyone from carrying electronic weapons, but Councilman Ron Dillon Jr., R-Pasadena, said that police injuries and workers' compensation claims might be reduced if law enforcement could use the devices.
