North Dakota's workers' compensation insurance agency is proposing to spend in excess of $10 million to improve its computer system and provide better service to customers.
Workforce Safety and Insurance (WSI) officials have presented the plan to a legislative committee and are moving to prepare a request for proposal (RFP).
WSI hopes to fund most of the project in the 2007-2008 biennium with additional spening in subsequent years to complete the work, with the funds to come out of the agency's surplus.
