Claimant Pays $41K Restitution

A Northern California claimant has paid $41,095.57 restitution for four felony counts related to her workers' compensation claim filed for a lower back claim while employed as a part-time housekeeper, American Commercial Claims Administrators announced Thursday. ACCA said Maria Grijalba, 34, of Fort Bragg was convicted in February of grand theft. She was sentenced to 60 months formal probation and 500 hours of community service and ordered to pay restitution to her insurer.
