Nucor Steel Plant Receives 'Merit' Award

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will honor Nucor Steel Corp. in Norfolk, Neb., as a "Merit" member of OSHA's Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) in a ceremony at noon today at the company's plant and 2911 E. Nucor Road. The plant has 440 employees who recycle scrap metal into structural steel bars.
