Fitch Ratings on Friday affirmed the ratings of American Financial Group, Inc. (AFG) and its subsidiaries following the announcement that AFG plans to spin off its personal lines property casualty operations. This action includes the senior debt ratings of AFG, and its subsidiaries, American Financial Corporation and Great American Financial Resources, Inc. (GAFR) at 'BBB+'.
