Job Total at All-Time High in Pennsylvania

There are more jobs -- 5.7 million -- in Pennsylvania now than at any time in history, a jubilant Gov. Ed Rendell said on Friday. The latest statewide workforce report shows Pennsylvania's job count rose to a record high 5,720,900 in September and that unemployment fell to 4.8%.
