A Painesville, Ohio, man pled guilty Feb. 11 to one felonious count of workers' compensation fraud, the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) announced.
David Semak was ordered to pay $2,274.60 in restitution to BWC. In addition, Semak was sentenced to 10 months incarceration and had his driver's license suspended.
Along with the count of workers' compensation fraud, Semak was also indicted on four counts of deception to obtain a dangerous drug and five counts of illegal processing of drug documents. He pled guilty to all 10 felony charges.
