An Indiana man was award $16.5 million by a jury Tuesday for a foot that was amputated in a 1998 industrial accident reports the Northwest Indiana Times.The jury took three days to award John Mesman, 44, of Highland, IN, specific damages of $232,000 for medical bills, $850,000 for future medical and $650,000 in lost wages, against Infra Metals of East Chicago and Crane Pro Services of Portage.
