The Texas House of Representatives approved Tuesday legislation aimed at preventing kickbacks and bribes which could affect delivery benefits to an injured worker.
House Bill 34 by Rep. Burt Solomons, R-Carrollton, was approved on a voice vote.
The measure will sent to the Senate for action after a final vote today.
The bill as introduced would have applied to services relating to the management of a workers' compensation claim.
