House Passes Anti-Kickback Bill

The Texas House of Representatives approved Tuesday legislation aimed at preventing kickbacks and bribes which could affect delivery benefits to an injured worker. House Bill 34 by Rep. Burt Solomons, R-Carrollton, was approved on a voice vote. The measure will sent to the Senate for action after a final vote today. The bill as introduced would have applied to services relating to the management of a workers' compensation claim.
