Governor Gray Davis today announced the appointments of James C. Cuneo and Janice M. Jamison Murray as commissioners of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.
Mr. Cuneo, 61, of Sacramento, is president/shareholder for Cuneo, Black, Ward and Missler, a law corporation since 1984. From 1986 to 1989, he was president of Bolling, Walter and Gawthrop. Mr. Cuneo is a member of the California Compensation Defense Attorneys Association and the American Bar Association. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Notre Dame and a juris doctorate degree from Golden Gate Law School.
