Racially tinged remarks and run-ins with white supervisors did not create abnormal work conditions that support a black store clerk's psychological injury claim, a Pennsylvania appeals court ruled.
The Commonwealth Court upheld a trial court's finding that a black grocery clerk Allen Johnson did not present evidence of being subjected to racial hostility and verbal abuse that amounted to an abnormal working condition.
