A.M. Best Co. has affirmed the financial strength rating of
A- (Excellent) of The Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group
plc (R&SA) (United Kingdom) and its core
subsidiaries. At the same time, A.M. Best has
affirmed the "bbb" and the "bbb-" ratings of its
subordinated debt and preferred stock. (See link below for
