The First District Court of Appeals for Florida ruled that once a judge of compensation claims (JCC) recuses him or her self from a case, such recusal cannot be reversed by the JCC.In Miller V. Later, she reversed that order and reasserted control over the case, then entered an order denying compensability of the claim.
