The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation reported a New Lexington man pleaded guilty to defrauding the bureau and was sentenced to pay restitution and serve five years community control.
The bureau announced that the Franklin County Common Pleas Court convicted Allen Beougher of a fifth-degree felony, sentenced him to five years community control and ordered him to pay $9,534.51 in restitution.
The bureau reported Beougher injured himself in 1987 while working for Kessler Brothers Lumber, hurting his back while lifting lumber at the sawmill.
