The Texas Workers' Compensation Commission approved the renewal of certificates of authority to self-insure for 12 private employers during a meeting last week, the agency annnounced Monday.
The commission also on Friday approved the first-time application for a certificate of authority to self-insure for Starbucks Corp. and accepted the withdrawal of Target Corp. as a Certified Self-Insurer in Texas.
