Both the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board and the workers' compensation judge have the authority to review and award attorney's fees between a claimant and his attorneys, the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court ruled.
In Hendricks v. Workers' Compensation Appeal Board, No. 237 C.D. 2006, 10/16/2006, Kevin Hendricks sustained an injury in April 1992 in the course and scope of his employment with Phoenix Pipe & Tube. Phoenix accepted liability for Hendricks' injury pursuant to a Notice of Compensation Payable issued in June 1992.
