California and Texas moved forward with efforts to launch a uniform system for electronic medical billings, winning approval from a key subcommittee of the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions.
IAIABC officials reported it appeared likely other states could adopt the guides and standardized forms being developed by the two states in response to mandates from their legislatures.
