Delphi Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: DFG) yesterday announced operating earnings for fourth quarter 2002 of $20.4 million, or $0.96 per share, compared with an operating loss of $7.0 million, or $0.34 per share, for the fourth quarter of 2001. Operating earnings for full year 2002 were $79.4 million, or $3.73 per share, compared with operating earnings of $44.7 million, or $2.18 per share, for full year 2001.
