New York State Workers' Compensation Board Executive Director Richard Bell announced Wednesday that the board resolved all pending issues for 312,025 new and reopened claims in 2005, marking the fifth consecutive year of 300,000 or more resolutions.
A case is considered resolved when all pending issues have been determined.
"Five years ago, the bar was set at 300,000 or more claims resolved per year and we are extremely pleased to have met and exceeded this goal for a fifth consecutive year," Bell said.
