The Missouri House of Representatives moved forward a bill Wednesday that proponents say will make the state's workers' compensation laws less liberal and will fix the exodus of business from that state.HB321, sponsored by Kevin Wilson, R-District 130, redefines occupational diseases for the purpose of workers' compensation, by providing benefits only if work were the "dominant" factor in an employee's medical condition, not merely a "substantial" factor as the law now requires.
