TPAs Must Disclose Clients says WCAB

The WCAB recently issued an En Banc decision holding that where a third party administrator is managing a worker's compensation claim, the identity of the ultimate liable parties must be disclosed to all parties and the WCAB, as well as the exact nature of the adjusting arrangement at the outset of any litigation, and that failure to do so is a basis for sanctions under LC 5813.
