Calif. EDI Users Must Report Sender IDs

The California Division of Workers' Compensation issued a reminder Monday that its Workers' Compensation Information System (WCIS) is updating the first report of injury/second report of injury trading partner data base. A list of all claim administrator FEINs must be reported for each Sender ID, the DWC said. The WCIS database uses claim administrator FEINs to process individual transactions and may reject transactions for unknown claim administrators.
