The Tennessee Court of Appeals decided in a dispute between an employee leasing company and its insurance agent that the agent's promise to find the company less expensive coverage amounted to a "mere expression of intent or a general willingness to do something" that did not amount to an offer. The opinion in Administrative Resources, Inc. v. Barrow Group, LLC, No. E2005-01792-COA-R3-CV (7/31/06) decided an appeal brought by Rick and Sharon Thomason, owners of Administrative Resources Inc.
