Coalition Launches High-Dollar Attack on Ga. Justice

An unusual coalition fueled by more than $241,000 in cash from doctors, hospitals and insurance interests has formed for the sole purpose of removing a 14-year-veteran of the Georgia Supreme Court that they consider a threat to tort reform and workers' compensation laws. The Safety and Property Coalition, headed by political consultant H. Eric Dial, formed as an independent committee in Tyrone, Ga., in January to oust Justice Carol Hunstein.
