ASSE Elects New Leaders

Jack H. Dobson Jr. was elected president of the American Society of Safety Engineers during the annual spring membership election, the association announced Friday. Dobson is manager of occupational safety and health for Simplicity Manufacturing Inc. of Port Washington, Wisc. Dobson will take the post June 30. He will succeed ASSE President Gene Barfield, CSP, of Lafayette, La. Barfield is director of professional safety, health and environmental services for Acadian Integrated Solutions, LLC.
