Ruling Affirms Competency of Expert

The Pennyslvania Commonwealth Court refused to discredit a medical expert's testimony that a claimant had recovered from an injury, though the doctor questioned the man's diagnosis. In McKenna v. Workers' Compensation Appeal Board, No. 547 C.D. 2006 (7/19/06), a workers' compensation judge had granted a termination petition filed by American Waste Consultants, finding that employee Marion McKenna had fully recovered from his work-related injury.
