In response to criticism by Hawaii's Supreme Court Chief Justice, Gov. Linda Lingle Wednesday said that she is going to pursue legislation to raise the threshold of injury for pure psychiatric workers' compensation claims.Gov. Lingle, in her state of the State address mischaracterized the facts in a recent HI Supreme Court case by stating that a worker was able to collect benefits for mental injuries arising out of his termination for stealing.
