The Missouri state Chamber of Commerce and Industry began debating changes to that state's worker's compensation law that they want to send to the legislature. At issue are the effects of a 1983 court ruling that the employer lobby says resulted in many more workplace related injuries being run through the worker's comp system, even if they would have been handled better by health insurance.
