Connecticut Post Office Wins 'Star' Status

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration awarded "Star" status in Voluntary Protection Program to the Danbury Post Office, which sorts and delivers mail to the communities of Danbury and New Fairfield, Conn. The facility employs 163 workers. Mathe Kent, OSHA regional administrator, said OSHA's review of the post safety and health management programs "found them consistent with the high quality expected of VPP participants."
