BWC Cuts Ties to Auditor KPMG

The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation reported severing its relationship with auditor KPMG because of delays in the release of a fiscal 2005 audit for the bureau. BWC spokeswoman Nancy Smeltzer reported the audit had been expected to be completed Sept. 30 but that KPMG has reported it would not release the audit or issue an opinion on the agency's condition until a criminal investigation involving coin dealer Tom Noe from Maumee was completed.
