Workers' compensation nationwide is becoming more and more skewed in favor of
business and insurance because of a collective rush by states to pass so-called reforms, says the executive director of a Washington, D.C.-based law and advocacy group for claimants.
Recent changes enacted from coast to coast in workers' comp are not reform but "deform" for the claimant, charges Randall Scott of Workers Injury Law&Advocacy
Group (WILG). They effectively sever rights and benefits from injured
workers, he adds, thus unraveling the current structure of workers' compensation across the U.S. map.
