Ads Lure LA Welders for Suit, Not Work Comp

Welders in the Gulf Coast are being targeted with ads by a St. Mary Parish, LA, law firm in order that the firm may develop a large products liability class action suit. The ads seek to lure welders who have symptoms of neurological damage associated with welding. Elwood C. Stevens Jr. told Houma Today that the ads began running two months ago and that despite interruptions from Tropical Storm Isidore and Hurricane Lili more than 200 welders have contacted his office as a consequence.
