To assist insurers in complying with the
Terrorist Risk Insurance Act of 2002, members of the National Association of
Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) yesterday adopted a model bulletin and disclosure
notices describing specific steps insurers must take to conform to relevant
portions of the act. The NAIC's action came as President Bush signed the
Terrorism Risk Insurance Act into law this morning in a White House ceremony
