Howell Joins AJGallagher as New CFO

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE: AJG) today announced that Douglas K. Howell, a financial executive with a broad background in insurance and public accounting, will join the company as its new Chief Financial Officer effective March 3. Mr. Howell, 41, joins Gallagher from 21st Century Insurance Group (NYSE: TW and a unit of American International Group, NYSE: AIG) where he is senior vice president and chief financial officer.
