Consultation Program Exceeds OSHA Requirements

The Kansas Department of Labor reported its safety and health consultation program ranked first in Occupational Safety and Health Administration Region 7 for work site safety consultations and health monitoring in 2006, exceeding requirements set by OSHA. Region 7 consists of Missouri, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska. The annual safety consultation program called for completion of 659 safety activities in fiscal year 2006.
