The U.S. Labor Department has subpoenaed Cigna Corp. asking for information about an insurance broker, Cigna revealed in an annual report filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Cigna did not disclose the broker's identity in its filing to the SEC.
Last fall, Cigna received a subpoena from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of California asking about Universal Life Resources.
