Endurance Specialty Reports Big 1Q Gains

Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd., (NYSE:ENH) a Bermuda-based provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, today announced results for the quarter ended March 31, 2003. Net income for the first quarter of 2003 increased to $51.2 million or $0.86 per diluted share compared to $3.3 million or $0.05 per diluted share for the first quarter of 2002.
