Workers' compensation policy premiums decreased at a slightly smaller rate in April, according to a monthly nationwide market barometer.
Dallas-based MarketScout reported workers' compensation rates falling at 5% last month compared to a 7% drop in March, the online insurance exchange said in its barometer report.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard Kerr of MarketScout noted that April rates across all business insurance lines reversed direction slightly.
