Liberty Mutual Claims Mgr Sentenced, $1.7M Fraud

A former Liberty Mutual claims manager in New Jersey, who sent relatives $1.7 million over the years, was sentenced yesterday in U.S. District Court in Trenton to 40 months in prison, and restitution of the stolen money. Barbara Ruggiero, 46, of Voorhees, NJ, pleaded guilty to mail fraud on May 22.Ruggiero worked for Liberty Mutual for 19 years.
