Newspapers from around the country on Wednesday published a report on the California Second District Court of Appeal's decision upholding the rights of illegal aliens to state workers' compensation benefits.
A Google news search showed that newspapers in Florida, New York, Washington D.C. and Georgia carried an Associated Press report on the decision on their Web sites, in addition to most of the major California newspapers.
Many of the reports, however, carried incorrect headlines that the decision had "expanded" workers' compensation.
