The Texas state agency, which manages the workers' compensation program for state employees, needs to improve its return-to-work efforts and be better prepared to pay workers' compensation claims resulting from a disaster.
Those conclusions are part of a Sunset Advisory Commission staff report on the State Office of Risk Management (SORM) that will be considered by the commission meeting Tuesday.
