Sago Mine Corrects Numerous Alleged Violations

The operator of the Sago Mine in West Virginia reported Friday has corrected more than 100 electrical citations issued by federal inspectors looking into a New Year's explosion that killed a dozen miners, the company announced Friday. The federal Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) conducted a spot inspection of Sago Mine near Buckhannon and issued 115 citations related to electrical operations in the mine.
