Recent Administrative Changes to FL, MI, IO

The following administrative changes are being made in state agencies: House Bill 1643, signed into law on April 25, 2002, transfers many of the duties of the Florida Workers' Compensation Division from the Dept. of Labor and Employment Security to Dept. of Insurance. Insurance Commissioner Tom Gallagher is in the midst of a major reorganization of his agency, which will be renamed and have broader responsibility for all financial institutions in Florida.
