NCCI Requests Change to Fla. Marine Codes

NCCI is proposing an amendment to the classification of pile driving and marine construction in Florida. If the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) approves the proposal, land-based pile driving would be classified under one code and all marine construction consolidated into a new code. The NCCI proposal discontinues code 6003, Pile Driving, and proposes a new Florida state special code 6004, Land Pile Driving.
