Union Plans Protest Over Denial of Radiation Claims

United Steelworkers and former workers for the Rocky Flats Nuclear Weapons Plant will stage a protest on Monday of the denial of compensation and medical care for cancers that the union says was caused by exposure to radiation at work. The protest will take place at 4:30 p.m. Monday on the public sidewalk in front of Sheraton Denver West Hotel, 360 Union Blvd. in Lakewood, Colo.
